Points of view (watercolours)

The arrogance, acidity and iconographical precision of certain photographs of popular magazines are an inspiration to these mostly feminine portraits. The impression of discomfort emanates from the divertingly entertaining poses of the figures.
The vacuity of personal ornementation generates strong ideas for painting and evokes the eternal question of the relationship between ourselves and the others : Are we autonomous beings or subtly one and another?
